Zajels (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to protecting the privacy and security of your information. 2.2 Data Processed via Connected Accounts

  • Communication & Review Data: When you authorize Zajels to connect external platforms (such as Meta, TikTok, or Google Business Profile), we process customer inquiries, conversation threads, public reviews, reviewer display names, ratings, and review replies to provide unified inbox and automated response features.
  • Authorized Credentials: OAuth access tokens and refresh tokens required to maintain secure, authenticated connections with external platforms. All credentials are encrypted at rest using AES-GCM encryption.

2.3 Automated Collection

  • Usage Data: IP addresses, browser type, device information, operating system, and details about how you interact with our platform.
  • Cookies & Tracking: We use cookies and similar technologies to enhance performance, analyze trends, and remember user preferences.

3. How We Use Information

We process your information for the following purposes:

  • To provide, maintain, and operate the Zajels Unified Inbox and customer communications platform.
  • To aggregate incoming customer messages and Google Business Profile reviews into your unified dashboard.
  • To facilitate communications, draft replies, and publish automated or human-approved responses to customer inquiries and reviews.
  • To process transactions and send related information, including confirmations and invoices.
  • To detect, prevent, and address technical issues, unauthorized access, or fraudulent activity.
  • To provide customer support and respond to your requests.
  • To perform internal analytics to understand usage patterns and improve platform performance.

4. Legal Bases for Processing

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), we process your data based on:

  • Contractual Necessity: To fulfill our obligations under our Terms of Use.
  • Legitimate Interests: For security, fraud prevention, and platform improvement.
  • Consent: Where you have given clear consent for a specific purpose.
  • Legal Obligation: To comply with applicable laws and regulations.

5. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with trusted third-party service providers who assist in operating our infrastructure (such as hosting, database management, and transactional email), subject to strict confidentiality and security requirements. We may also disclose information when required by law or in connection with a business transfer.

6. Google API Services User Data Policy & Limited Use Disclosure

Zajels's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

6.1 Specific Google Data Accessed

When you connect your Google Business Profile to Zajels, our application accesses:

  • Google Account Identifiers: Basic account ID used to maintain the OAuth connection.
  • Business Profile Locations: Location resource names and titles you have permission to manage.
  • Customer Reviews & Ratings: Public review content, star ratings, reviewer display names, review creation dates, and review reply text.

6.2 Purpose of Google Data Processing

Google user data and Business Profile data are used solely to:

  • Display and organize your Google reviews alongside other communication channels in the Zajels Unified Inbox.
  • Enable you to draft, review, and publish replies directly to your Google Business Profile reviews.
  • Generate analytics and customer satisfaction reporting for your business locations.

6.3 Strict Restrictions on Google User Data

  • No Sale of Data: We never sell Google user data or Business Profile data to any third party.
  • No Advertising: Google user data is never used or transferred to serve advertisements, including personalized, retargeted, or interest-based advertising.
  • No Model Training: Google user data is never used to train, retrain, or fine-tune generalized artificial intelligence (AI) or machine learning (ML) models.
  • Limited Human Access: No human employees or contractors read Google user data unless you have given explicit consent for troubleshooting, it is necessary for security reasons, or to comply with applicable laws.

6.4 Data Retention & Revocation of Google Access

Google OAuth tokens and cached review data are retained only as long as your integration remains active. You can disconnect your Google integration at any time from the Zajels Dashboard (under Connected Channels), which immediately purges your stored access and refresh tokens. You can also revoke Zajels's access at any time through the Google Security Permissions Settings.

7. Third-Party Integrations

Zajels acts as a processor of data received from connected external platforms. You are responsible for complying with the terms and privacy policies of any external platform you connect. Zajels only accesses and processes data within the scope of the permissions you grant.

8. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with the Service. We will also retain and use information as necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

9. Data Security

We implement industry-standard technical and organizational measures designed to protect the security of your information. However, please note that no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure.

10. International Transfers

Zajels is a global platform. Information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence. We ensure that such transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards.

11. Your Rights
